Wayne Murray Builders has been a family business in Christchurch for over 50 years. Started by Wayne’s father Jack Murray the reputation began to grow and after some 30 years Wayne then partnered alongside Jack for 10 years and now solely directs the company, now joined in-tern by his sons Jacob and Liam.
The company has a proud reputation of high quality craftsmanship and close on site involvement and supervision. Wayne’s friendly approach with clients has seen close working relationships that have resulted in producing homes of quality, beauty that have exceeded all expectations.
Wayne Murray Builders have joined a very small group of elite Canterbury builders to have won the prestigious overall winner or ‘Supreme Award Winner - Master Builders House of the Year Awards’ but in this case, not once but twice.

A number of the homes we have built for our clients over the years have been national finalists in the Master Builders House of the Year awards.
Experience
Company Director Wayne Murray has over 40 years’ experience in the building industry, having started out as a partner in the family business with his father, Jack Murray, who retired in the 1990s.
We have a team of loyal and experienced staff, some of whom have been working for the company for between 15 and 25 years.

We develop close and effective working relationships with our clients by:
• First getting a really good understanding of our clients’ needs,
• Guiding our clients through the different stages of the project that need to be achieved to ensure a successful result; and
